Take Flight With Heritage

2005

Enjoyable, relaxing, luxurious and comfortable describes our golf and spa retreat weekend at Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, Georgia. Midway between Atlanta and Augusta on Lake Oconee, Reynolds offers lodging at the waterfront Ritz-Carlton Lodge, comprehensive spa treatments and facilities, a variety of dining and activity options, and four nationally recognized golf courses. The ease and comfort in chartering an aircraft from Burlington, Vermont-based Heritage Flight enabled us to achieve our goal to unwind while enjoying the company and destination.

We relaxed in seats that recline, turn and stretch out while sharing snacks as well as the alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages that are provided for every flight.

Heritage offers any catering you need, from a simple fruit tray to complete luxury dinners. Pets are also allowed on board.

Our golfing pilots, David Kitchen and Karl Usher, enhanced the experience with their competent, professional and personable approach. Heritage has been flying charters for 21 years, with an impeccable safety record. There are no connections, security lines or waiting in a terminal. Safety and security checks are made before you arrive at the aircraft. The flexibility and hassle-free airport interaction creates a level of stress-free travel nonexistent in commercial air travel.

Heritage can flay to 5,300 U.S. airports, about 10 times as many as commercial aircraft. They can make virtually any trip possible. Cost depends on the number of travelers, and the itinerary. Take off when ready. Itinerary changes can even be made on board. You can stop on the way to pick up friends for the weekend, as we did in Atlantic City, or for dinner with family, as we did on the return in Hilton Head.

Heritage manages a fleet of seven aircraft which can seat from six to nine passengers. The fleet’s largest jet, the Canadair Challenger 601-3R, seats nine and is staffed with a flight attendant. Decreasing in size are the Cessna Citation Excel, a mid-size jet, which also seats nine; Cessna CItation Encore II light jet, which seats eight, Beechcraft King Air C90 turbo-prop, which seats six; and two Beechcraft King Air C90B turboprops, which each seat six. Heritage also hopes to add a Beechcraft King Air 200 and two Cessna Citation CJ2s by this June.

Vermonters can fly on Heritage from Burlington, Keene, Albany and other airports to Reynolds in about two hours.
